IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION!
Proper installation requires that the dumbwaiters operate only when all
access doors are closed. American Dumbwaiter and Power Lift
Corporation have learned that some installers are not properly
securing the safety switches, one magnetic piece to each door
and the other magnetic piece to each door frame.
The proper installation will allow the magnetic switches to be in contact
only when the doors are fully closed. If one side of the safety switch
were to seperate from its intended location and remain in contact
with the other side of the safety switch, the system will operate
as though the door were closed, even if the door is open.
Please check to see that your dumbwaiter does not operate
when each door is open.Check all doors, one at
a time, to ensure safe operation.
If your dumbwaiter door safety switches are not there,
or are not working properly please call us at the
